Today Sharp unveiled the LB-1085 [JP], at 108 inches screen size, it’s the world’s biggest LCD TV for commercial applications. The company says one model will be delivered for use in a cinema complex in Tokyo on June 19th. However, it is available for anyone in Japan (starting today) who is willing to pay $100,000 for it. The TV comes with the following features:
– ASV 1080p LCD screen
– 400 cd/m2 brightness
– 1,200:1 contrast
– 6 ms response time
– 176-degree viewing angle
– ports: 3xHDMI, 1xDVI, 2xcomponent, 1xS-Video The LB-1085 is sized at 2,572×202×1,550mm and weighs 195kg.
