Is Lords of the Fallen cross-platform?

If there’s one thing you can count on in nearly any Soulslike game, it’s that you’re going to face some hefty challenges along your journey. That rings as true as ever in Lords of the Fallen, which tasks you with exploring treacherous locales and facing off against horrifying and deadly creatures around every corner. As such, you may find yourself wanting to bring a friend along for some cooperative play as you would in Elden Ring, and you can do exactly that by simply inviting them to your world, where they can stay for as long as they’d like. But not all Soulslikes are cross-platform games, so we’ll fill you in on whether this one is. The quick and easy answer to whether Lords of the Fallen has crossplay is yes, it features crossplay just like Minecraft and Sea of Thieves. However, this only works between PC and each console individually, meaning that PlayStation 5 and Xbox players can’t connect with one another. For those on either platform looking to connect with PC players, though, you can freely invite someone for co-op (or invade them for PVP) with no issues whatsoever. It’s also worth keeping in mind that Lords of the Fallen only allows one co-op partner to join you on your adventure at any given time, so you won’t be able to bring multiple friends along. Luckily, though, you don’t have to worry about them being removed after defeating a boss, as the game bucks genre conventions by allowing you to co-op for as long as you’d like with no interruptions. Kept you waiting, huh? At long last, a full modern remake of Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater, the earliest point in the Metal Gear timeline, has been released under the new title Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater. Without Kojima at the helm, Konami has decided to play it safe and keep this game as close to the original as possible, with the biggest changes being the vastly improved graphics and a new control scheme. While this is a great entry point for fans who have never played a Metal Gear game, it is also a perfect excuse for longtime fans to revisit one of the best entries in the series, but how long can you expect to spend on Snake’s mission? Here’s how long you can expect to spend sneaking through Metal Gear Solid Delta. How long is Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater? We all knew we’d be getting a new Black Ops 7 trailer at Gamescom Opening Night Live, but this quick look and pre-order announcement didn’t give us the full picture of what this game has in store. Odds are most fans are already busy pre-ordering the game for PS5 or Xbox Series X after learning that Menendez is back, but if you want some more details to push you over the edge, I have some more exciting information about the Black Ops 7 campaign not included in the new trailer. The new campaign has been the main focus of Black Ops 7’s marketing thus far, and for good reason. This is the biggest and most evolved a Call of Duty campaign has been in years. Not only does this campaign feature 4 player co-op across its globetrotting and mindbending story, but there will now be a new endgame and progression system to match the systems in multiplayer and Zombies. This includes XP, a battle pass, challenges, and more, but what exactly does this look like? The summer used to be associated with the big E3 announcements, but Gamescom has always dwarfed that showcase in terms of size and spectacle. PlayStation, Xbox, and Nintendo still host individual presentations throughout the year, but Opening Night Live is one of the few events where all platform holders and publishers put their best foot forward to show off the latest and greatest upcoming video games. This year, we will be treated to new details on Black Ops 7, Resident Evil Requiem, Fallout season 2, and a ton of surprises no one saw coming. A 2 hour show can be a lot to absorb, so whether you missed parts or all of it, here’s everything that was announced.
