In an interesting move, the owner of Bitcoin.com has moved the domain to point to a special bitcoin landing page that features access to some very basic Bitcoin tools and informational sources powered by Blockchain.info . Bitcoin.com previously pointed to a landing page run by Coinbase . The first link goes to Blockchain.info’s own wallet service while the second link goes to Zeroblock , an informational page that shows the current BTC price and some basic news. Finally, the last link shows a blockchain tool that you can use to view bitcoin transactions. In all, it’s a sort of one-stop-shop for your bitcoin needs.
The owner registered the domain in 2008 but the owner declined to comment on the specifics of the deal.
